Nathalie Ellis

Nathalie Ellis, Clinical Director

  • Licensed Professional Counselor, Juvenile Sex Offender Certified Counselor
  • Team Member Since 2003

She graduated from Georgia State University in 1997 with B.A. in Psychology and then finished with her M.A. in Professional Counseling in 2000 from the Georgia School of Professional Counseling. She has more than a decade of experience working with children, adolescents and families. She has experience working with clients that have significant trauma, abuse, sexual victimization/offending, behavioral issues, and poor relationships.

Shemeka Frazier-Sorrells

Shemeka Frazier-Sorrells, TransitionZ Program Director

  • Master of Science in Counseling
  • Team Member Since 2010

Shemeka Frazier brings 10+ years of social service experience ranging in parenting services, case management for child protective services, supervision of child welfare workers, and policy and program management, development and implementation. She has a passion for serving young adults by assisting and supporting them in their transition to adulthood.  She chooses CHRIS Kids because her values are aligned with the mission of the organization.  The best part of her job is knowing that she has provided a young adult, that some otherwise would have written off,  a chance at learning and realizing their individual worth and contributions to society.

Kimberly Hill

Kimberly Hill, JourneyZ Program Director

  • Bachelor Of Science Degree in Education/Recreation
  • Team Member since 2010

Kim has more than 5 years experience as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and Program Planner. She also has extensive knowledge in Case Management, Training, Behavior Management, and Program Development. CHRIS Kids is a natural choice for Kimberly because it allows her to be Creative in the way services are offer to our youth.  Kimberly is a strong advocate for youth and young adults in school and the community, and takes pride in being able to “plant the seed” necessary for the youth in the JourneyZ Program to grow into productive members of society.

Harold Moreau

Harold Moreau, Property Manager & Maintenance Supervisor

  • Team Member Since: 1991

Mr. Harold is literally the bricks and mortar that hold CHRIS Kids together. His responsibilities include repairs, upkeep and safeguarding eight group homes, a 60 bed apartment complex, an outreach office and the main office. He says, "The best part of my work is the interaction with staff and our kids. I enjoy seeing the positive growth and the difference we make in the kids' lives. I am able to utilize my gifts for the organization. Interesting Fact: Mr. Harold owned and operated six pizza shops "Hungry Howies" during the 1980's.

Whitnei Pryor

Whitnei Pryor, Director of Training

  • Project Management Professional (PMP); Master of Arts in Counseling
  • Team Member Since 2012

Whitnei Pryor brings more than a decade of progressive social service experience designing, integrating, and evaluating organizational programs and training systems. Whitnei was a licensed clinician for many years and made the transition to project management and training to assist agencies with programmatic fidelity. Whitnei’s professional experience includes learning & development, project management, grant management, mental health counseling, government relations, and marketing. Whitnei’s favorite pastime is dancing.

Ashley Tricquet

Ashley Tricquet, Director of Care Management Entity

  • Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Master of Addiction Counseling
  • Team Member Since: 2006

She has worked with numerous local and state agencies in planning and development. Her responsibilities include coordinating statewide services with dozens of other nonprofit and government agencies to empower families and youth. The best part about her job is, “The results. We prevent children from having to be hospitalized and can keep them safe in their homes, with their families. This is when I am most proud.”

Sarah Ziegler

Sarah Ziegler, Performance & Quality Improvement Director

  • Team Member Since: 2003

She is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, development of quality systems, accreditation, and internal policy development. Her favorite part of her job is that it allows numerous opportunities for creativity. She believes strongly in the mission stating, "Even though I don't work directly with the kids, I have many opportunities to affect their lives in a positive way."  Interesting Fact: Sarah was run-over by Miss America's mom in 1981 and suffered a broken arm.
