Our Results

We regularly conducts assessments externally and internally. External assessments and audits include compliance with the Council on Accreditation, APS  Healthcare (92% on our audit), DBHDD (94% on our audit), GA’s Office of Regulatory Services, GA’s Office of Policy, Procedure, Utilization and Management, and CK’s primary stakeholders: clients. External assessments are designed to ensure adherence to best practices, legal standards, ethical norms, monitor results and comprehensively evaluate organizational performance as it relates to the mission. Results from these assessments are used in the strategic planning process to ensure that programming is best suited/aligned to carry-out the mission and improvements are made in areas that are not effectively accomplishing goals or objectives.

• 89% of families were strengthened and preserved. These families in serious danger of losing their children to a state agency, psychiatric residential treatment facility, or hospital.
• Children demonstrated an average 63% improvement in functioning from intake to discharge as measured by the CAFAS .*
• 1,281 face-to-face sessions of counseling, parenting classes and case management services offered.
• 1,630 wrap-around sessions of coordination, family support and planning provided.
• 9,164 therapy sessions = 8,995 hours offered to the community.
• While in the TransitionZ Program 21% of youth were in college, 33% in high school, 41% in GED classes and 5% in a vocational program.

*Child and Adolescent Functioning Assessment Scale is a nationally validated measurement tool designed to assess the level of functioning in children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, or substance use symptoms or disorders. It measures improvements in overall functioning.
