Community Based Services
Community Support Individual (CSI)
These individuals work with children, youth and families gain access to community services and resources. The community support focuses on building skills, development of natural supports and activities such as coaching, modeling, limit-setting, and reinforcing constructive interactions. All interventions are strength based and focused on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and achievement of the highest level of functioning in the community. CSI services are provided at home, school, work, and other community settings.
Intensive Family Intervention (IFI)
These services are short-term, family-focused, and community-based services designed to help families cope with significant stress or problems that negatively interfere with family relationships. The goal of these services is to maintain children with their families, or to reunify them, whenever it can be done safely. We work with all different types of families: biological families, kinship families, foster families, and adoptive families. We believe many children can be safely protected and treated within their own homes when parents are provided with services and support. Our goal is to empower them to positively change their children’s and their lives. IFI team members are available 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency. Most of the family services are in their home or in another environment familiar to the family.
