CHRIS Clubhouse

In partnership with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, we provide young adults ages 16-21 with a place where they can spend their time learning the tools necessary to transition to adulthood successfully while recovering from their mental and/or behavioral disorder. Services are provided in a supportive group environment and include structured activities that assist the members in obtaining goals related to education, employment, understanding mental and behavioral health, coping skills, and living skills (obtaining bank accounts, cooking, etc.). Additional Clubhouse Services include:

  • Service Coordination
  • GED Preparation
  • Workforce Development & Training
  • Access to Computer Lab
  • Tutoring
  • Individual & Group Life Skills Coaching
  • Utilizing & Identifying Community Resources
  • Creative Expression Through Audio (audio production studio)
  • Transportation
  • College Preparation (ACT, SAT, FAFSA)

Membership Requirements 

  • Young adult must be between the ages of 16-21
  • Must have an Axis I Mental and/or Behavioral Health Diagnosis
  • Resident of Clayton, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Newton or Rockdale County.
  • Willing to participate in services and activities

Hours of Operation

Tuesday-Thursday 3-8pm
Friday 2-9pm
Saturday– 10am-6pm
Sunday & Monday– Closed
