$60 Provides Socks - Think about your laundry basket at home. Isn’t there always an extra sock or two leftover, missing or without a pair? Now think of the kids that come to our residential programs. They have been in 9-10 different homes or placements. With all this moving around – there socks go missing. You can provide a 6 pack of socks to a child in need for less than $10.00 or help six kids for $60.

$48 Provides Underwear or Boxer Shorts – All kids need underwear. Our young women prefer cotton, bikini briefs. Hanes or Fruit of the Loom are perfect. The young men wear boxer shorts and briefs. A 3-4 pack of underwear costs approximately $8.00 or help 6 kids for $48.

$90 Provides Hygiene Kits – No one wants to be the “stinky kid in class.” Deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, washcloths, soap, shampoo and conditioner all prevent our kids from being “stinky” and builds their confidence in their appearance. You can purchase bulk items in packages and then break apart to create small kids. Great project for small groups. Each kit can be made for as little as $15.00 or help six kids for $90.

$180 Provides Coats – Brrrr, who would think it gets 30 degrees in Hotlanta? Our kids need coats during the winter months to stay warm. Quality coats, jackets or sweatshirts can be found for as little as $30 or help six kids for $180.

$300 Provides Choice – Everyone knows that teenagers know everything. Or at least this is what they tell us. ? Teens are difficult to shop for because each of them is different and finding out who they are as individuals. We know gift cards are not as much fun to shop for as other items – however the gift cards empower our teens to select the items that they really want and need. It gives them freedom to have choice, which is not always available when you have been in state custody most of your life. You can give a teen choice for $50.00 or six teens a choice for $300.
