In Honor
If you are undecided when considering a birthday, holiday or special
occasion gift, you may make a donation In Honor of someone. When
you give a gift specified In Honor, we will send a special card
recognizing the donation, the donor, the occasion and that special
someone.
In Memory
A death of a loved one is difficult. A wonderful way to pay tribute
to one's life is through a gift that will better the life of a child.
Your gift will be recognized with a touching memorial card sent
to the family members informing them that their loved one's life
has been celebrated through a memorial gift designed to aid in the
betterment of a child's future.
Wills/Life Insurance
A wonderful way to leave your living legacy is to provide for
the children of CHRIS Kids in your will or through a life insurance
policy. What better way to ensure that many deserving children's
needs are being met, than through these means?
Naming Opportunities

A Little Goes a Long Way with CHRIS Kids
CHRIS Kids relies on the generosity of corporations, foundations,
and individuals to provide the “essential extras” for
our children, youth and families. These include cultural enrichment
activities for the group Home residents, extra clothing for the
ILP youth and GED funds for the Rainbow residents. Here are some
ways of helping members of the CHRIS Family.
- $550 provides two-hour parenting skills sessions, refreshments,
and travel expenses for 10 parents.
- $465 provides summer enrichment and camp activities for one
child.
- $200 provides a month of intensive remedial educational sessions
at a learning center.
- $200 provides a special weekend outing for six children accompanied
by two staff persons.
- $150 provides clothing and shoes for special occasions (homecoming,
award ceremonies, job interviews, etc.).
- $100 provides life skills training for one youth for one month.
- $52 provides a monthly MARTA card for older youth who are seeking
employment.
- $40 provides art, karate, or a dance lesson.
