A Little Goes a Long Way with CHRIS Kids

There are so many ways you can make a significant impact on the lives of our children, youth and families. These include cultural enrichment activities for the group Home residents, extra clothing for the ILP youth and GED funds for the Rainbow residents. Here are some ways of helping members of the CHRIS Kids Family.

• $46 per month provides two-hour parenting skills sessions, refreshments, and travel expenses for 10 parents.
• $30 per month provides summer enrichment and camp activities for one child.
• $17 per month provides a month of intensive remedial educational sessions at a learning center.
• $17 per month provides a special weekend outing for six children accompanied by two staff persons.
• $15 per month provides clothing and shoes for special occasions (homecoming, award ceremonies, job interviews, etc.).
• $15 per month provides life skills training for one youth for one month.
• $52 per month provides a MARTA card each month for older youth who are seeking employment.
• $15 per month provides 5 art, karate, or dance lessons.
