  • Tom and Darlene Garr Take CHRIS Kids to See the Atlanta Braves
Tom and Darlene Garr donated tickets for five Braves games this spring and summer, so that CHRIS Kids in all our programs, as well as the staff, might have an enjoyable outing. Many of our kids have never been to a Braves game, and this provides them the sort of family outing that other kids so enjoy. It is also very beneficial to the relationships between the staff and the children to share an exciting experience together. When asked about the motivation behind this wonderful generosity, he said,

"Darlene and I for many years have maintained an active charitable trust whose main mission is to support various charitable causes for which the main theme is helping children. We have been very blessed in our lives and we are both pleased and honored to be able to give back to the community and support fine organizations like CHRIS Kids. Hopefully, with donations like this we can contribute to making a positive impact in the lives of these kids who deserve the breaks that the rest of us all take for granted."

Tom and Darlene Garr

Thanks so much to the Garrs for giving our youth an experience they will long remember.
