"Set It and Forget It"
You can setup monthly re-occurring credit/debit card donations, e.g. ($1,000 gift is $84 per month/$42 per bi-monthly pay period). This is a great way to make a larger gift over time – in smaller payments.
Designate CHRIS Kids through the United Way Campaign (select agency 292).
Next time your workplace conducts a United Way campaign, make sure to “designate” CK as your choice charity. Circle number 292.
Donate your annual tax refund (portion).
You can make tax time more fun. Carve out a portion of your tax refund and donate it to CK.
Make a matching gift.
Ask your personnel office or CHRIS Kids for assistance. Did you know that many companies will match your donation? This is an easy way to double your impact!
Specify CHRIS Kids through your corporate giving campaign.
Many companies have internal campaigns to raise funds for charities. Does your company have CK on the list? Contact us and we can help you get CK added to the list.
Setup a multi-year pledge (making smaller gifts over time).
You can pledge $6,000 over 3 years and each year make a $2,000 donation. Demonstrate your commitment to the future and ensure sustainability for new generations.
Make a Planned Gift.
Planned gifts offer advantages to help meet your overall financial goals, and also help CHRIS Kids in strategic, long-term financial planning. There are many ways you can leave a legacy and you can provide yourself and your family (or other beneficiaries) with significant tax benefits. In addition to outright, tax-deductible cash gifts, there are other creative ways to give, including: Gifts of stock, A bequest in your Will, A beneficiary designation on a life insurance policy, 401(k) plan or IRA, Life Income Gifts, and Charitable Trusts.
